David Lombán said a few words at the Gran Canaria Stadium minutes after the defeat by UD Las Palmas.
The Málaga CF captain kicked off by saying “when you lose, the result is the worst thing. We improved throughout, we felt better as the minutes passed, we sought out the spaces and their weaknesses, we were more in control of the ball. It’s a pity Roberto’s chance to equalise didn’t materialise,” he said about #LasPalmasMálaga.
Lombán talked about the positives: “We maintained a positive mindset, we never gave up. Our mentality was to always turn the result around, stay in the game, believe and have faith. That goes for future games,” he added.
Next up is the match against Real Oviedo next Saturday at La Rosaleda. “We’re going to now focus on the next match, correct the mistakes we made today and win at home,” he stated.
