Back to training on International Workers’ Day

The Malaguistas returned to work this Sunday 1st May, International Workers’ Day and Mother’s Day, at La Rosaleda’s Annexe.

Málaga CF’s first team was back in training this Sunday 1st May, International Workers’ Day, following a day off on Saturday.

The day kicked off with a video session at 10:00 that lasted for around 40 minutes.

The players then moved on to the Annexe for almost an hour and a half with the group divided into two groups. In the one group, those who played more than half of the match in Las Palmas underwent recovery treatment on the pitch this morning, whilst the other group carried out a more intense session, featuring possession work, crosses and shots and a mini match on a reduced sized pitch.

Dani Strindholm, Carlos López, Andrés Caro, Benítez, Víctor Olmo, Ismael Gutiérrez, Kevin, Loren and Roberto were the homegrown players in training under Pablo Guede’s orders today.

Outside the group dynamic were Javi Jiménez, Juande and Adrián, continuing with their respective recovery processes.

Another session is scheduled for tomorrow, Monday at 10:00 at La Rosaleda’s facilities, with the team already advancing preparations for Saturday’s match against Real Oviedo.
