“This has nothing to do with the last match. The attitude against Sevilla cannot be explained, in a derby you cannot concede five goals, but we need to remain with what happened here today. We competed against a team that is made to win the league and I believe we had options to equalise. A draw would have been fair. Even those on the bench were telling me the team looked great. They were doing well, the players were tired from all the hard work they were doing, but they were fine. Looking back, perhaps I should have put Ode on a little earlier and made the substitutions sooner, but that must be thought of first. I believe we made the right changes, although in regard to timing I have some doubt, perhaps it would have been better sooner”.

“There are six finals left. Today we competed against this team, so why not against Athletic de Bilbao? Barcelona is complicated, but we have Rayo, Albacete, Sporting de Huelva… With these results, everything is still up in the air and we’ll continue moving forward.
