Following a tentative start, Alhaurino took the lead with a goal from Zalea (1-0, 23’). Near the half-time mark, a Kevin corner was headed into goal by Quintana (1-1, 39’). The second goal of the season for the versatile player and an important psychological equaliser.
In the second half, the Blue and Whites scored another strategic goal. A corner from Juan Cruz was converted by Eu(1-2, 58’). Play became more abrupt, with continual interruptions in the closing stages. Coming off the bench, Camacho scored the third Malaguista goal following a superb action from Larrubia (1-3, 86’). Then former reserve team player Castillo narrowed the gap just before the final whistle (2-3, 90+1’).
Another three points for Malagueño who now have 10 out of 15 points from five games, to remain in the top part of the table. Next weekend the lads will be at home against CF Motril.
