Cifu: “I adapted very quickly to the group”

The winger, who arrived in the Winter transfer window, is part of the group dynamic and today brought Blue and Whites’ Values to CEIP Giner de los Ríos.

The defender visited CEIP Giner de los Ríos in Cruz de Humilladero, along with Atlético Málaga captain, Chelsea, and spoke to the media about his first months in the city: “I have always felt part of the dressing room, they’re a fantastic group, which has helped me to adapt very quickly.”

First sensations

“At first it took me a little while to get used to the new concepts the coach wanted, but I adapted well to my teammates and the coaching team.”

Adapting

“I have always felt part of the dressing room, they’re a fantastic group, which has helped me to adapt very quickly.  Also, the city is like Elche, the climate is great, which helps you adapt easily.  Everyone welcomed me with open arms on my arrival, and I’m very happy here.”

Competition

“I knew that having the chance to gain minutes would be difficult, my teammates who play in my position are doing a great job.  However, I’m confident and am here to do my bit.”

Jump to First Division

“It’s an important step up playing in the First Division, especially at a Club like Málaga.  When I arrived I said it is one of the biggest Clubs in LaLiga.  My family asked me how I’m doing here, and they can see I’m doing remarkably well.  They just need to see me playing on television now.”

School visit

“I like the innocence of children, it’s important they see an example of nutrition and eat well in order to be as healthy as possible.  Everything we can do from Málaga will be welcome.”
