Harsh defeat
“Nothing is impossible. Another tough defeat because, if you say the rivals are far superior to you, or you are overcome at all times by teams and the defeat was easy, that’s another thing altogether. We are seeing that they are even matches, at times we deserve more, but you end up losing a play. Today it was from a set piece, the other day it was in minute 5 on the rival’s first attack. This is costing us a lot, but we need to lift our heads up and keep working. It’s been an incredibly difficult first round, but we hope this changes in the second round”.
Keep believing
“We’re not giving anything up as lost as there are many points in play. I’ve experienced very similar situations. With Mallorca we had 14 points from the first round, and ended with 51. We need to keep believing. Until the last match is played, nothing is decided”.
Stick together
“We must believe in everyone here. Nobody is going to arrive with a magic wand to save us. It’s more important than ever now to stick together, close ranks and cling to the belief that we can do it and things will change”.
Mood of the team
