“I’m recovering calmly, because we knew there wouldn’t be any margin to be ready to even play against Getafe. I’m trying to finish my physical recovery before the holidays”.
Injury
“Nobody is prepared for injury, but as players we always try to stay on top of things, particularly when it comes to muscular issues. Luckily, it’s not a major injury, but it is enough to stop me from playing the last match of the season”.
Possible renewal
“The good thing I can say is we had a meeting a few months ago with Mario Husillos in Málaga. The Club has shown interest in a possible renewal, whether the team is in the First or Second Division. That’s open, so now we have to wait and see which coach arrives and what the definitive proposal may be from Málaga. At the moment we’re focusing on what we’re doing, as the end of the season is a real struggle, these last few games are very tough. It was a harsh blow for us when we were mathematically relegated, so we need to finish the season, take 7-10 days to breathe a bit and forget about this, as it’s been psychologically very hard and extremely stressful at times”.
