Following the medical tests undertaken today, Tuesday at Vithas Centro Médico La Rosaleda, the Club’s Medical Services have confirmed the tear to the anterior cruciate ligament in Pablo Chavarría's left knee.
Once the inflammation of the injured joint subsides, the striker will undergo surgery in the near future which, like Iván Calero, means the Argentinean player will be out of action for the remainder of the 20/21 season.
