Brandon: “I’m happy with the goal and being able to help the team”

The Malaguista goal-scorer in Valladolid spoke to MCFTV following the game. “We had chances to score another goal,” he said.

“It was a difficult game against an opponent who was going to demand a lot from us. The team competed well, and we won a point at a good stadium. I’m happy with the goal and being able to help the team,” said Brandon, with his inseparable Kevin alongside him in the mixed zone.

About Valladolid he commented: “On paper they have to be up there. We need to correct our mistakes. Today I think we sacrificed ourselves in defence and we had chances to score another goal,” said the number '9', who thinks the first away win won’t be far away. “We’re competing well, every day it’s closer and I hope it happens soon. We must value this point, and next week at home we have to win all three points with the fans.”

His goal celebration was well-rehearsed. “The dance was prepared with Kevin, who is one of the players I have the most affection for on the team. I was able to score the goal and celebrate it with him and the whole team, and also remember Luis,” said a grateful Brandon to the Malaguista fans at Pucela: “It was a lovely surprise, we thank them for coming so far and for continuing to support the team.”
