Víctor, during his first international appearance with Spain’s Under-21s, was in coach Luis de la Fuente’s starting-11, playing the entire 90 minutes on the right of the defence.
Spain defeated Slovakia at La Cartuja (Sevilla) on matchday 3 of the European Under-21 Championship qualifiers, taking place in Georgia and Romania in 2023.
Spain came from behind twice, after trailing 0-1 and 1-2 down, thanks to goals from Hugo Guillamón, Sergio Gómez (penalty) and Juan Miranda (penalty), the latter who scored the 3-2 in 87’.
Spain’s U-21s are leading the group, and next Tuesday 12th October (La Cartuja -Sevilla-, 20:45) will face Northern Ireland on matchday 4.
