Blue and White Values with CEIP Ciudad de Jaén

A large group of students from the Churriana school visited La Rosaleda and enjoyed a beautiful morning of 'Blue and White Values' today.

Another visit to the Blue and White stadium at the start of the 22/23 season of the MCF Foundation campaign which, with the collaboration of Diputación Provincial de Málaga, is currently celebrating nine seasons.

On this occasion, it was the turn of CEIP Ciudad de Jaén (Churriana) to enjoy a dream day at our stadium. They cheered on the team at the start of their training session at the Annexe, visited the Museum&Tour and then received a talk on sporting values in the Club's 'Juan Cortés' press room.

Genaro (Málaga CF), Silvia Mérida (MCF Femenino) and Genuines Antonio Capitán and Juan Antonio Fernández accompanied the excited students during the question-and-answer session. “Teamwork helps us win games,” highlighted Silvia, while Genaro stressed that “you must always stay humble.”

The Sevilla-born midfielder talked about what a healthy breakfast should look like: “I eat a piece of fruit, bread with olive oil and tomato, a little bit of turkey, fruit juice and coffee.” Meanwhile, Mérida focused on the importance of caring for the environment. “Whenever I can, I recycle at home and also when I play outside of Málaga.”

A moment full of Malaguismo came with the answer to the eternal question of planet football. “Messi or Cristiano?”, asked a boy from the Churriana school. “I prefer Javi Jiménez,” stressed Genuine player, Juan Antonio to the applause of the schoolchildren. Mérida also explained that if she were not a football player, she would have opted for judo and, Genaro, a sports journalist or physical trainer.

After the talk came the traditional group photo with the ‘Blue and White Values’ poster to end an unforgettable Wednesday.
