Belén Carrera Rodríguez (Málaga, 2002) is a young defender known for her strong aerial ability, physicality, quick interceptions, and leadership from the back.
A product of Málaga’s youth academy, Belén returns to the Club at a stage of sporting maturity, bringing valuable experience gained across various levels.
Her most recent team was CD PFC Málaga, where she helped secure the runner-up spot in the 24/25 season of the 2ª Andaluza Femenina Sénior Málaga league, finishing just behind Málaga CF, coached by sporting director Estrella Díaz, who was present alongside Belén during the official contract signing ceremony at La Rosaleda.
With this signing, Málaga CF Femenino strengthens its commitment to local talent and bolsters its defence just days before preseason training begins.
