Málaga CF and Unicaja sign a three-season sponsorship agreement

The financial institution becomes the official sponsor of the Club for the next three years, strengthening its commitment to sports, the city, and Málaga’s first football team.

Málaga Club de Fútbol and Unicaja formalised their sponsorship agreement this Wednesday during a signing ceremony held at La Rosaleda Stadium. The Club renews a historic partnership, marking the start of a new phase of collaboration, officially extended until 2028, built on shared values and a commitment to the people of Málaga.

José María Muñoz, Málaga CF’s judicial administrator, highlighted that “this agreement fills us with great pride. We are restoring a historic relationship with an institution that proudly represents Málaga. We are very grateful for Unicaja’s trust.”

In addition, Fernando Ríos, Unicaja’s Director of Communication and Image, said that “this agreement strengthens our connection with Málaga CF and its fans, who will be able to enjoy unique experiences.” He also notes that the sponsorship “is part of our commitment to support initiatives that promote economic and social development in our home regions.”

As part of the agreement, Unicaja will have a prominent presence at Málaga CF’s facilities, on its digital channels, and at numerous events. It will also carry out initiatives aimed at fans and offer exclusive experiences for its clients.

Unicaja, a longstanding example of support for sports as a driver of well-being, social cohesion, and economic growth, actively backs teams and sports projects across various disciplines, playing a key role in sports promotion at all levels.

Through this partnership, Málaga CF benefits from an organisation that reaffirms its commitment to Málaga and its people, promoting sports as a means to create value and strengthen its connection with the community.
