The home of football in Málaga has the name of a flower, La Rosaleda. The origin of this charismatic name stems from a majestic rose plantation that was in an area very close to the current stadium before its construction, more than 80 years ago.
Málaga CF wants to take a bit of La Rosaleda with the team when they are away from home. As such, the roses are part of the new kit. The shirt has different shades that go from the 'vinotinto' colour on the shoulders to a shade of pink below. This transition is produced by a gentle gradient that runs through the stripes.
In addition, on the inside of the back of the neck, the coordinates of the stadium are displayed as well as a representation of the characteristic crosses that support the structures of the Tribuna and Preferencia stands, one of the building’s most representative architectural elements.
