Antonio Contreras leaves the Club

The coach of Málaga CF Femenino’s first team has reached an agreement with Málaga CF and will not head up the team next season.

Coach Antonio Contreras has informed Málaga CF of his decision not to continue at the helm of Málaga CF Femenino during the 2019/2020 season.

As such, the coach brings an end to his journey with the Martiricos entity after directing the Málaga CF women’s first team for two seasons.

During the two seasons heading up the Malaguista squad, Antonio Contreras achieved promotion to Liga Iberdrola after six years in the silver division, played a season in the elite of Spanish women’s football, although he didn’t manage to achieve the objective of remaining in the First Division.

The Club wishes Contreras lots of luck for the future and thanks him for his work coaching the Blue and White team.
