Amrabat wins with Morocco but Horta suffers defeat with Portugal’s under-21s
Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Nordin Amrabat and Ricardo Horta both took part in international matches yesterday. Amrabat and Morocco defeated Benin by 6-1, whilst Horta’s Portugal lost to England by 3-1 in the under-21s friendly.
Amrabat
Málaga CF striker, Nordin Amrabat was in Morocco’s starting-11 in yesterday’s international friendly against Benin. The ‘Malaguista’ made it 1-0 after 7 minutes, but was forced to abandon play in minute 26 due to injury problems. Morocco won by 6-1.
Horta
Málaga CF’s attacking midfielder, Ricardo Horta took part in the under-21s match between Portugal and England. During this match, which ended in a 3-1 defeat for Portugal, Horta came on to the pitch in place of Pereira.
