Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Marcos Angeleri held a press conference following this morning’s training session at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium to talk about the ‘Malaguista’ team: “This Málaga CF doesn’t surprise me, we’re here for a reason.”
The Argentine begins by talking about the Blue and Whites’ recent success: “This Málaga CF doesn’t surprise me, we’re working hard and we’re here for a reason. Our position is a reward for our hard work and sacrifice.”
The ‘Malaguista’ defender analyses the next BBVA League rival, Atlético de Madrid: “They’re a great team, one of the best in Spain. We’re really looking forward to this match and to continue making Málaga CF history, although we know we’re up against a tough rival. Let’s hope luck is on our side and we win at the Calderón.”
Angeleri discusses his situation on the team: “I’m not looking for personal gain, but that of the team. I’ve always been a very committed player and work as hard as I can to ensure I’m prepared for when an opportunity arises.”
Finally, the ‘Malaguista’ regrets his teammate Amrabat’s injury: “He’s an important player on the team, although it’s always unpleasant when someone is injured, so we hope he recovers quickly.”
