“It’s important that we get everyone pulling in the same direction, with the same objective and same enthusiasm. We’ll do all we can to get the fans going from the outset and ask them to support us in the same way they’ve done since the first matches. This helps the players to move up a level, both in terms of work and responsibility. A good atmosphere at the stadium sparks euphoria, enthusiasm and optimism. For us it’s fundamental to play at our home ground with things in our favour. We’ll be the first ones to give something to the people so that they encourage and push the team as much as possible. We want to have that boost as it gives you chances and means you have less pressure. Objectives are achieved when everyone is moving in the same direction. In football, sometimes you play a little better, sometimes you don’t, that’s the name of the game. We always have to live with the mistakes, not everything is done well. However, what there’s no doubt about is that the players give their all on the pitch, which is one of the reasons why we’re in the top part o the table. The team, at certain moments of play, has maintained a good level, but a team isn’t right at the top of the standings for 22 matches. We want people to go home proud to be from Málaga”.
