Bassira Toure’s goal at the service of Málaga Femenino
The African forward from Mali arrives on the Costa del Sol from AS Mande to complete the second round of Liga Iberdrola with the Blue and Whites.
Bassira Touré (6/01/1990, Mali) is the latest Málaga CF Femenino signing during this winter transfer window. Touré is a forward and comes to us from Mali outfit, AS Mande.
The striker enjoyed a great season with her former team, scoring 47 goals in 22 games for Mande.
With her arrival in Málaga, Touré becomes the first player from Mali to sign a professional contract in the world of women’s football.
International career
Touré is a regular with the Mali national team. She took part in the 2016 Africa Cup and stood out in this competition in 2018, scoring the two goals that led her team to a 2-1 victory against Ghana.
Her good performance in the Africa Cup led her to be nominated for Women’s African Player of the Year and she was included in the Ideal 11 of the Cup competition as one of the best forwards.
