Mula’s operation took place at Hospital Vithas Parque San Antonio in Málaga. The surgery was carried out by traumatologist José Manuel Mateo, under the supervision of first team doctor, Dani Rosado.
The surgery lasted, counting the anaesthesia, around two and a half hours. Mula underwent a meniscal regularisation, in addition to a palisade in the tensor fasciae latae muscle near the damaged area.
The footballer will shortly begin rehabilitation on the injury to the meniscus in his left knee. The evolution of his recovery will determine when he will return to the field of play.
