Álex Gallar comes to strengthen the attack

The player arrives on a free transfer from Girona FC and seals his commitment to MCF until the 23/24 season.

Alejandro Gallar Falguera (19/3/1992, Terrassa - Barcelona) is a versatile player who can operate in different positions at the forefront of play. Technical, with an imaginative game vision, he has various resources to overcome rivals’ defence strategies. His unpredictable actions from the right wing or midfield make him a difficult attacker to control.

At 17 years of age, he debuted in 2ªB with Terrassa FC in the 09/10 season. Since then, he has been part of RCD Mallorca B, UE Cornellà, Hércules de Alicante CF and Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa, playing a total of 130 matches in the bronze division.

Later he made the move into professional football within the ranks of SD Huesca, where he played a key role in promotion to the First Division, accumulating a total of 37 games in LaLiga SmartBank. The following year, in LaLiga Santander, he competed in 25 duels in the top flight of Spanish football.

In the 19/20 campaign he moved to FC Girona where he was once again decisive, playing in 32 games in the regular Second Division championship. In the last two seasons, he was loaned out to FC Cartagena where he has participated in 26 and 33 games respectively.

Álex Gallar is now part of Málaga CF. Welcome to your new home!
