The Blue and White player appeared before the media at Marbella Football Center. He stated that “in the first half there were good sensations. We did what we’ve been practising. We were lacking energy, as well as set pieces, which is something we still have to work on and improve,” he commented.

In regard to his conclusions of the match, Juanfran said “we should be very pleased as we have a huge workload, and we had a great first half against a team about to start their league.”

The team’s preparation is demanding and Juanfran knows it will bear fruit. “We’re working incredibly hard, Pablo is training us hard, which is important right now,” he commented.

Following this first test, Juanfran is confident the team will perform well this season. “I’m sure we’re going to have a great season and that my time here is going to be good. If I were a Málaga fan I’d be excited. We have good players, an eagerness to work hard and we’re forming a good group. We’re working to reach our goals,” the Blue and White player concluded.
