Following training sessions at the Ciudad Deportiva Fundación MCF on Wednesday and Tuesday, the squad returned to Martiricos to continue preparations for the match against Racing Santander.

The players took to the Annexe pitch at around 10:30. Funes began with a team talk, followed by physical activation work, tactical drills with the ball in groups and finishing exercises.

Joaquín and Martínez continued to build up their workload with the group, while Carlos Puga once again trained separately as part of his workload management.

Juan Cruz worked under the supervision of fitness coach José Antonio Lizana, as did long-term absentees Aaron Ochoa and Lobete, all of whom remain outside the group sessions.

Málaga will train at La Rosaleda Stadium tomorrow, Friday, from 10:30.
