You’d have to look back to the 2007/08 campaign for a joint presentation of so many players. On that occasion, 11 new players were presented during a season that ended in the Club’s last promotion to the First Division.
Earlier today, in the presence of judicial administrator, José María Muñoz and sports director, Manolo Gaspar, 14 new footballers posed for the graphic and audiovisual media, full of the excitement of a newcomer to Martiricos.
In three groups they paraded on to the pitch at La Rosaleda. Orlando Sá, Escassi, Dani Barrio, Calero and Cristian were up first; Juan Soriano, Caye, Jozabed and Yanis were next; whilst Joaquín, Luis Muñoz, Chavarría, Jairo and Mejías followed. Matos was the only absentee due to personal reasons.
All of them, except Joaquín Muñoz, have worn the Blue and White jersey in an official match since the start of the season. Lots of luck!
