Calero: “This Club generates responsibility and motivation”

Like Escassi and Dani Barrio, the versatile right-back arrived at Málaga CF from Numancia, keen to continue growing individually and collectively.

Reasons

“The interest shown in me by the sports management and the coach to come to this Club. It’s a huge step forward coming to an institution like Málaga, with the great social following, the structure of the Club, the stadium and the city. It’s an enormous motivation to come to a Club with these characteristics, but what drives me the most is the interest shown by the sports management and the coach for me to come here and be able to do my bit and achieve our goals”.

Málaga

“It’s a beautiful city, a football city, with great expectation and a lot of people behind the Club. This generates responsibility and motivation to go out there every day, in training sessions and in matches, to do the best we can”.

Reconstruction

“It’s a new project with lots of new people. We all have to adapt as we’ve come from different places with different ideas of gameplay. The important thing is that we all have the same motivation, to do things well at the Club and try to achieve our objectives as soon as possible. This will allow us to have peace of mind and enjoy the Club and the stadium which, when full of our fans, will bring us great joy”.

Objective

“The Club’s main objective, after the situation we’ve been experiencing, is to secure our place in the category and, from then on, we can dream. However, the first thing is to take each match at a time, fight for every point and maintain the motivation of wanting to improve every day, in every match and in every training session. Then we can end the season fighting for our objectives”.
