The Supercapacitad@s Football School team’s participation in the Tarragona Phase came to an end this week, closing LaLiga Genuine Santander 19/20.
Three days of pure Genuine excitement and enthusiasm in which Málaga CF competed for a Fair Play title that was finally won by Athletic Club Fundazioa. The Supercapacitad@s fought until the end, accumulating a total of 264 points, not far off those obtained by the winning team. Rayo Vallecano were proclaimed champions of the Grupo Deportividad and Córdoba CF won in the Grupo Compañerismo.
Málaga CF, after yesterday playing against Cádiz CF and UD Almería, brought an end to the Tarragona Phase this morning against CD Leganés. Cristóbal Calle scored one of the best goals of the weekend against the pepinero rival.
During the closing event of the 19/20 season, held at Complex Esportiu Salou, current LaLiga Foundation president and former Málaga CF president and player, Fernando Sanz Durán was present. Fernando greeted the Málaga Genuine squad, taking photos and chatting to each of the Blue and White players.
After more than 600 days of waiting due to the COVID-19 pandemic, LaLiga Genuine returned stronger than ever, proving once again that, if you can dream it, you can achieve it. Respect, camaraderie and sportsmanship took centre stage over the three days, with 42 teams taking part. They are all winners.
On their return to Málaga, very tired but so happy, our Supercapacitad@s are once again an exemplary #MalaguistaFamily in terms of attitude, hard work and, above all, Fair Play. You’re the best team in the world!
