“We’re looking forward to a great match in front of our fans”

The Málaga CF central defender says the team is fully focused on #MálagaValencia: “We can rectify things with a victory, which is what we’re going to do on Saturday. They will come up against players who are determined to win”.

Stability

“On an individual level, I’m pleased with my performance in recent games but, like the team, we need to find stability both on a collective and individual level from here until the end of the season”.

Focus on #MálagaValencia

“We’re aware that the image we gave in the last match is not the one we want to portray. I think we need to find a degree of stability in our gameplay, rather than playing very well one week and at a much lower level the next. That’s the rut we’ve been in. We’ve seen the mistakes we made, but we’re working on correcting them and concentrating on Saturday’s game”.

Great match

“We have to look back just to see the video and the possible errors we made at Riazor, but we mustn’t dramatize the situation. We’re looking forward to a great match in front of our fans. In football, one week you’re angry because you’ve lost, but we can rectify things with a victory, which is what we’re going to do on Saturday”.

Going out to win

They will come up against players who are determined to win, and above all, who have an extra motivation to do so in front of the fans and change their image. We must keep working hard in order to turn the situation around, which will be relatively straightforward with a victory”.

Míchel

“I think he’s done a good job psychologically. After all, when you enter a negative dynamic, you need to work on what’s going on in your head the most. The results weren’t coming, despite the hard work. By focusing on our minds, we were able to recognise that we’re a good team, which has been reinforced with good results, giving us much more confidence in training and when affronting matches”.
