Koné, called-up by Burkina Faso

Blue and Whites’ player, Bakary Koné has been called-up by his country for an international match between Burkina Faso and Cabo Verde.

The Malaguista central defender, who has accumulated six games this season (539 minutes) in LaLiga Santander 2016/17, has been a regular fixture with his national team in recent years.

Koné will be with his national team between 7th and 13th November, undergoing a pre-stage in Lisbon (Portugal) three days before the Cabo Verde – Burkina Faso match, held at the Estadio Nacional de Praia (12th November, 16:00 local time).  The match corresponds to an African qualifier for the 2018 Russia World Cup.
