Llorente’s disallowed goal
“I’m not reclaiming anything. From the dugout, these moves are seen as very misperceiving. There’s a lot of people and we’re a long way away. We watched it later on television and it was in fact a legal goal. These types of plays are very confusing. In this case, the linesman decided to disallow the goal, so we couldn’t do anything about it”.
All over the Granada CF goal
“We had the match more or less under control. We were in front on the scoreboard. Defensively, we weren’t having any problems, but in one strategic move by Granada, they were accurate in front of goal and managed to equalise. In the little time that was remaining, we were all over the Granada goal, created chances but weren’t lucky enough in the final shot to claim the three points. We always like to win all the points, it wasn’t to be tonight, so we have to settle for the point we achieved”.
Good gameplay
“I think the team was playing well, we had the match under control. We didn’t have to alter anything. The performance was pretty good. In fact, we kept pushing until the end, with the possibility of scoring a second goal. I didn’t think we had to change anything in the match”.
