Yanis Rahmani: “Málaga is Málaga”

The French-Algerian winger, on loan from UD Almería, is excited to be at the Club, and has been in action in the six league games in LaLiga SmartBank.

Excited to be here

“When Málaga calls, you always see it as a step forward, for any player. Regardless of the current situation, Málaga is Málaga. When you get the call it’s exciting, there’s nothing to think about”.

Málaga

“I’m adapting well, it’s a big change of city, far away from family. I’m adjusting and like being here. I’ve been getting to know my teammates from the outset”.

Category

"Not only Málaga, there are other great teams that should be at the top yet it’s difficult for them to get going. It’s normal, the Second Division is tough. There are people who will be important within the team and they have just arrived. Everything has its process and takes time. As soon as it arrives the better, but despite everything that’s happened, and with people having only just got here, we’re doing well and are on the right track. There are things we need to improve on, as do the other teams in the Second Division”.

Objectives

"On a personal level, I want to improve with every game. We’re all adapting, it’s not been long but there are no excuses. Each player has to give their best individual performance. Collectively, we’re doing well, which is a plus. The group is working hard, we need to continue doing so, generate more in attack, but that’s what we need to work on. When you have only been playing together for a short time, a certain chemistry and understanding are lacking, which is normal. As soon as we take on board two or three concepts, we’ll generate more attacking actions”.
