Luis Muñoz: “I want to achieve many objectives with Málaga”

The Malaguista captain is happy to be home and wants to improve within a Club that has seen him grow.

Happy

“I’m super happy to be here at my hometown team, which is what I wanted. The main thing now is to be in optimum conditions, gain pace, score as many points as we can, save the category and from then on, we can look ahead. However, the most important thing is to achieve the objective”.

Captain

“I’m thrilled to sign my contract with a first team registration, it was a dream I’ve always had. Also being team captain is incredible. Not long ago I was here as a ball boy and now I’m team captain. I’m so happy”.

All about Málaga

“It’s a very exciting project, and I’ve seen that we’re all going to fight towards the same goal. People think it will be easy, but that’s not the case. This year is going to be difficult. However, we’ll do whatever we can to achieve the objective. Having people from Málaga by my side is an honour, as they have moved up the ranks. I’ve seen myself in that situation, they’re in the first team and know they need to fight, know what they have and the responsibility that this Club has”.

Objectives

“The main thing is to win matches. Individually I want to improve, there’s always room for improvement, but it’s all about the group. If one of my teammates has a better chance than me of scoring a goal, I will pass the ball to him. I'm not going to be selfish about it. I want to improve and mature and be able to achieve many objectives with Málaga. That’s what I really want”.
