Chavarría: “Málaga is like a family”

Goal, assist, a superb match in Zaragoza, team victory and official presentation… Malaguismo is certainly getting to know the versatile Italian-Argentinean striker.

Arrival

“The possibility of coming here came up, I was extremely keen as it’s such a great Club. I was so excited to come here, I left Mallorca to get here and I found a highly structured Club, like a family. The group has many young players, which gives it a lot of life. I’m very happy and trying to get on top form”.

Málaga

“I adapted very well, it’s a beautiful city. I spent a year in Mallorca, I’ve always been in the cold in France and Belgium. I come from Argentina which is a little warmer, so I feel more acclimatised”.

Team

“We are getting to know each other day by day. There are players with more experience who bring order to the dressing room, so it’s great for us all. There’s a lot of work to do, this has only just started. I’m very happy with everything”.

Objectives

“The individual objective is to be useful to the team and to get physically fit to be able to help. In regard to the team, we’ll take each match at a time, the Second Division is very difficult, the objectives are short term”.
