Willy’s statements:
(Correct and improve). “We’re looking forward to playing at home again and getting some points again. We have the opportunity to make a difference and we hope we’ll follow in the footsteps of how the previous home games have gone. It hurt a lot – losing at Anoeta – the form, the minutes when the goals were scored, and this week is all about correcting and improving; we want to turn the page on all that and hope that it doesn’t happen again. It’s over; the important thing is that it doesn’t happen again. Moving forward, building the security of the defence and getting three points are the most important things. We’ve been working week by week – defence – it’s how Osasuna does it, and we have to keep on correcting things.”
(Osasuna). “I’m feeling great now, it was a small annoyance - physical. They’re getting points on difficult pitches. They’re working very well, as a team, and they’ve got blind faith in what they do. They’re a tough rival and we have to be on form to get the three points. We can’t forget what happened in the previous clash last year, when they took a corner; against any team the set piece are vital, but against them even more so because they live off set pieces. We’ll try to be dominant as always at home and not concede any free kick, which is what they most need to get a footing in the game.”
(Match by match). “At home we’re fine, and we hope that continues and that we finish the year getting three points at home. Then we’ll think about the last game away and see how we can change our record as visitors. We have internal ambitious but the plan’s to go match by match. My own personal one is to win on Sunday, and then later we’ll see how we’ll finish in the League. Winning the next game and trying to get away from all those who persecute.”
(Boca, champion in Argentina). “Very happy, it’s been ages since Boca played, and players like Riquelme, Schiavi and Battaglia were my teammates, seeing them again devoted, and in fact everyone who got to play, was very nice.”
(Baptista). “We send him our best, teammates spoke to the lady and the operation went very well. We all hope that ‘The Beast’ is training and playing again soon, that the recuperation goes brilliantly, and that we see Julio again soon.
