The return of Monreal, the penultimate session’s big news

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s first team underwent their penultimate training this Friday 9th December, ahead of their forthcoming clash against CA Osasuna on Sunday 11th Decemebr at 6 p.m at La Rosaleda.

The first team, led by their Chilean-born manager, Manuel Pellegrini, trained with all its members out on the pitch, with the return of Nacho Monreal the big news of the morning.  The usual technical and tactical exercises with and without the ball, and rounds, were the key elements of this Friday session -  session in which the Málaga goalkeeper from the Liga Nacional, Dani Lorenzo trained with Willy Caballero and Rubén under the orders of Xabi Mancisidor.

Enzo Maresca remained in the Ciudad de Málaga gym carrying out recovery treatments for injuries that have forced him out of the match against Osasuna this weekend.  Julio Baptista wasn’t there either as he’s continuing his recuperation at Marbella’s Foot & Sports Clinic, after being operated on earlier this week.

Tomorrow the team will train at La Rosaleda at 10.30 a.m, in a closed session, before Manuel Pellegrini publishes the list of called-up players for the Osasuna match on Sunday 11th December.
