Málaga CF midfielder Adrián González spoke to the media on the Blue and White first team’s return to work after the summer holidays. Adrián underwent the relevant medical and physical tests at Centro Andaluz de Medicina del Deporte, located in Carranque.

“Our focus is on what’s coming up. It’s exciting. We know that there are almost 11 months without stopping”.

“We’ll face it as we did last season. Creating a new group, with enthusiasm, eagerness and being patient with everything that’s happening. We’re open-minded”.

“I think the coach did things well during the time he was with us. It’s important that someone who knows the foundations of the team is staying, it’s clear that’s what we need. He’s known the team from last year, which makes planning much easier”.

“We must thank the fans. I believe we are the team with the most season ticket holders in the Second Division up to now. This shows the commitment of our fans and how important it is for the Club and the players. Hopefully we’ll reach 20,000 season ticket holders. For us the fans are like having another player”.
