“It was the first time I’d experienced it from inside the bus. Seeing the fans cheering for us some two hours before kick-off, as we saw videos from when we left the hotel… I was also lucky enough to have my brother and some friends in the crowd who sent me photos. It was very exciting on the bus and highly motivating”.

“We know that we have to focus play in a particular way against these teams in the lower part of the table as we’ve lost points against them. We must respect them the same or more than teams in the top part of the standings. Hopefully as many people as possible will be there with us as their support will help us a great deal, we’re going to try and delight the fans”.

“I’ve never experienced anything like it. It was impressive. Although, we may have been left with a bittersweet feeling as the team is so ambitious. We wanted to score all three points, but had to take into account that Dépor are a very good team who will be up there with us, they play well and have some very good players. We now need to make the most of the point in Córdoba. The team is training very well this week. We know it will be a very difficult match, despite Córdoba’s complicated situation, and we’re determined to bring back the three points whatever happens”.

Tricky match

“They are matches that can catch you out. In spite of the institutional situation they’re experiencing, there are some top-level players, players who have been part of the First Division, with experience, fans that pressure the rival, and playing against Málaga always gives them a boost. We cannot rest on our laurels, they are a big rival”.
