Diego was shown his fifth yellow card this current Liga 1|2|3 season in the last match against RC Deportivo at La Rosaleda. The Cádiz-born defender will therefore fulfil “a one-match suspension due to an accumulation of yellow cards”, according to the RFEF’s Competition Committee on Wednesday.
