Immediate return to training

The squad was straight back to training this Monday morning following the away game in Huelva. Last night’s starting players underwent a less intense session, whilst their teammates focused on exercises on a reduced pitch.

Málaga CF aren’t wasting any time to start preparing for the next league match against UD Melilla. Kick-off is this Thursday, at 12:00 at La Rosaleda.

The starting players last night at the Nuevo Colombino trained inside the stadium, focusing on recovery work. The rest of the team were in action on the main pitch to carry out exercises in a reduced field. Sergio Pellicer was present and active throughout the session. Ramón, Víctor García and Juan Hernández continued with their rehabilitation work.

On behalf of The Academy were Adrián Céspedes (goalkeeper) and Murillo. Homegrown players Izan Merino and Antonio Cordero departed this morning to join the national Under-18 squad in concentration.

The first team will return to training tomorrow morning at 10:30 at La Rosaleda to continue preparations for Thursday’s clash with UD Melilla.
