Back to work to prepare for #MálagaEspanyol

First team

After having the weekend off, the team returned to training on Monday morning. It was the first of four sessions scheduled ahead of the next league fixture.

The morning session began at 10:30 at the Annexe, with a technical talk from Funes, physical activation work with and without the ball, small-sided games and tactical work to round off the session.

The main news was the return of Juan Cruz to the group, working progressively with his teammates. Cajuste, Murillo, Aaron Ochoa and Lobete continued their respective recovery programmes away from the main group.

Chupe was also absent after joining up with the Spain U-21 squad alongside Rafita, representing the Club during the international break.

Málaga CF will return to training at the La Rosaleda Stadium facilities tomorrow, Tuesday, at 10:30. The team will follow the same preparation schedule on Wednesday and Thursday ahead of Friday’s #MálagaEspanyol clash (9 October, 21:00, La Rosaleda).
