Víctor arrived to take charge of the Malaguista first team in the final stretch of last season, making an immediate impact in terms of gameplay and results, connecting with the Malaguista fans thanks to an attractive, attacking style of football.
Following his debut in Alcorcón, the biggest away win of the campaign (1-4) on 19th April, LaLiga 1|2|3 matchday 35, he ended the regular season accumulating four consecutive wins – three at La Rosaleda, scoring nine goals – and claiming third place in the standings.
