Munir Mohand debuted in the Africa Cup of Nations against South Africa. In the starting line-up and wearing the number ‘12’ shirt for the 90 minutes of play, the keeper from Melilla had little work to do, keeping a clean sheet in the win for the North African side by 0-1 (Boussoufa, ‘90).
Morocco finishes as the undisputed leader of Group D in the Africa tournament, with three out of three victories (nine points), scoring three goals and conceding none. On Friday 5th July, at 6pm, Morocco will compete in the round of 16 against a rival yet to be determined.
