At the award ceremony, held in Ontiveros’ hometown (Marbella), members of the Blue and White peña were in attendance, Fernando Sierra, Miguel Santos and Pablo Martín, accompanied by Mercy Chapman (Federación de Peñas Malaguistas).
Every week through the Los Lunes social networks, fans vote for the best Malaguista player from every match, and in 18/19, the winner was the homegrown winger. Ontiveros joins the likes of Willy Caballero (two-time winner), Toulalan, Amrabat, Camacho, Sandro and Iturra who are all previous winners of this trophy.
