Values focused on our Alevines and Benjamines

The fifth remote session of the ‘Academy of Values’ was held yesterday at La Rosaleda. The ambassadors this time were Juanma and Calatayud, former Malaguista players and members of the Juvenil ‘A’ coaching team.

The penultimate session of the MCF Foundation’s campaign, sponsored by Pinturas Andalucía, for the boys, girls and families that make up Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Academy.

On this occasion, the protagonists were the Under-12s (Alevín) and Under-11s (Benjamín) from the Blue and White youth ranks, who listened intently to every piece of advice given by the guests.

The ambassadors were two former players from the Málaga CF youth ranks. Juanma Gómez and Juan Calatayud both work with the Juvenil ‘A’ team that competes in the División de Honor, as second coach and goalkeeping coach respectively, within Nacho Pérez Santamaría’s coaching team.

Juanma talked about values such as respect for the rival and the referees, the importance of teamwork and commitment to the club, as well as highlighting the value of training at an early age and always enjoying what you’re doing; ‘Calata’, meanwhile, stressed how tough it is to reach the elite and also focused on the playful aspect of the game, about having a good time more than scoring goals or securing a big win.

Like on previous occasions, head of marketing at Pinturas Andalucía, Manuel Espiritusanto was in attendance at this remote event, coordinated by Lucas Rodríguez.
