The first training session for Málaga Genuine was packed full of smiles, happiness and goals. Smiles because these boys and girls are smiling within themselves; happiness because, once again, they could emulate their Blue and White idols; and goals, lots of goals, as these guys are impressive… there could have been more goals, but there’s also a great goalkeeper!
The members of the MCF Foundation’s Intellectual Disability Football School (‘Escuela de Fútbol de Discapacidad Intelectual’ or EDI) - a project that is part of LaLiga Genuine - completed their first training session this Thursday at the Federación Malagueña de Fútbol sports ground.
The players met at 16:00 and were in training for an hour under the watchful eyes of family, friends and the godfather of this team and representative of the MCF Foundation’s Social Department, Basti. In addition, Adriana, captain of the Málaga CF Femenino squad, was also in training with the players.
