A classic pre-match session with initial physical activation at the Annexe ground followed by technical work with the ball at La Rosaleda Stadium.
Without any new changes in regard to yesterday morning’s session, both Luis Hernández and Aarón Ñíguez returned to group training, and the Madrid-born central defender is also back on the squad list, now physically fit.
As usual since the return of the competition, a large number of players from the #MCFAcademy were in training. Outside the group dynamic were injured Pacheco, Boulahroud and reserve team forward Julio.
This afternoon, from 18:00, the called-up Blue and White players will begin their journey – charter flight – to Asturias. Tomorrow, Monday, #SportingMálaga will get underway at 19:30 at El Molinón-Enrique Castro “Quini”, corresponding to LaLiga SmartBank matchday 40.
