Traditional visit to the ‘Peña Malaguista’ at Cornellà
Málaga Club de Fútbol, represented by Club adviser, Francisco Martín Aguilar visited the ‘Peña Malaguista’ at Cornellà ahead of the match between RCD Espanyol and Málaga CF.
Martín Aguilar presented the gift of a team shirt to those present from the supporters’ club, headed up by president, Fernando Pérez Arrebola; vice president, Manuel España; the latter’s brother and former president, Miguel España; and founder, Manuel Alcántarda.
The iconic ‘Peña Malaguista’ at Cornellà, founded in May 2002, is the number 28 federated supporters’ club, and nearly all of its members are from the Axarquía region. The headquarters are located some 500 metres from RCD Espanyol’s stadium where Málaga CF will be in action tomorrow. “We have fulfilled our promise of visiting the ‘peña’. We’ve had a wonderful time and we toasted to a Málaga victory tomorrow,” affirmed Aguilar.
