Three points and the championship title (4-1)

Málaga CF won the league title thanks to three points earned against CFF Olympia Las Rozas. Carmen Gómez, Encarni and Bertuchi scored the Malaguista goals.

Málaga CF Femenino are champions of Group IV Primera Nacional Femenina after winning the three points on league matchday 21, pitting Ayala’s girls against CFF Olympia Las Rozas. The team stepped on to the Roma Luz pitch with the following starting-11: María Arrabal, Marina, Encarni, Torralvo, Teté, Futu, Carmen Gómez, Yoli, Ruth ©, Judith and Silvia Mérida.

The match got off to an intense start and the Malaguistas soon took the lead. First in minute 9’ thanks to an own goal from Ana Belén. Shortly afterwards, in minute 15, Carmen Gómez made it 2-0 for the Blue and Whites. However, before half-time, in the 33rd minute, Lucía narrowed the gap for the visitors (2-1).

In the second half, the Malaguistas increased their advantage. Encarni finished off a corner kick at the far post to make it 3-1 (67') and Bertuchi scored from another corner kick, this time at the near post, scoring the definitive 4-1 (85').

With this win, Málaga CF Femenino have achieved 19 victories and two draws out of 21 league games. Although there are five matches remaining, the team has already been crowned champions of Primera Nacional Femenina Group IV. With the objective achieved, the girls want to maintain their undefeated streak and end an outstanding season. Congratulations, champions!
