Málaga CF Femenino beat Extremadura UD 2-0 and maintained the lead of the group with 65 points.

Málaga CF Femenino reaped a new victory by beating Extremadura UD 2-0 in the match 24th of Group IV of the Second National Women's Division. Before the start of the match, both teams observe a minute’s silence in memory of Nacho Pérez Frías, doctor of the Club, with the Blue and White players wearing a black bracelet in his memory.

It was a difficult match and during the first 45 minutes both teams split the possession of the ball in a first half that ended in a goalless draw.

At the beginning of the second half, the Malaguistas got their ‘game face’ on. In minute 45, Noelia came on replacing Farfán and ten minutes later the midfielder, thanks to an assist from Sheila, opened up the scoraing with a goal that put them to 0-1. The fiesta continued in favour of the Blue and Whites and Karina entered in minute 74 in substitution of Meri. The coming on of the Puerto Rican served to, in minute 89, allow Adriana, the captain of the team, to score, putting it to 0-2. With this goal, the malaguistas had notched up an overall total 40 goals.

Málaga Femenino continued to increase the intensity and stamped blue and white all over the match, which came to an end with the 0-2 result. It is the third consecutive victory of the team, who already adds 65 points and remains leader of the classification.
