This Malaguista is an artist

José Luis Puche is a renowned painter whose career is booming. He has held exhibitions in New York, Paris and Sydney and combines his international agenda with his commitment to La Rosaleda.

Despite being so young, Puche is beginning to be a renowned artist. The 42-year old from Málaga started his professional career in 2005 and, since then, can boast of having exhibited in a number of the art capitals of the world and has achieved several distinctions, including the International Emerging Artist Award in Dubai in 2016.

In addition, José Luis is Malaguista. Very Malaguista. Having been a season ticket holder since his childhood, he never misses a match. Despite his packed schedule, it’s tough for him to miss a date at La Rosaleda and, when he travels for his work, he follows with interest the matches via radio or mobile. He’s completely in love with his team and the colours… which he knows how to combine so well.

Last week the artist visited the stadium and had a look around its most secret corners. He walked through the dressing room tunnel where he was amazed by the surrounding anamorphic badges, and also discovered the museum and memorabilia.
