This is our… 2nd Benjamín!

The team from the MCF Academy leads the 2ª División Andaluza, following 20 victories. If they finish the season in first or second place, they’ll qualify for the Andalucían Clubs Championships.

Málaga CF’s second year Benjamín players are from the 2007 generation. Coming from the 4th Andaluza, where they were divided into two teams, they now compete as one squad, in the 2nd Andaluza de Málaga division. Like their younger teammates in the 3rd division, their home ground is the Guadaljaire football ground.

With 174 goals scored and 14 conceded, the Blue and Whites lead the rankings with a complete 20 victories, and 60 points. Should they end the regular season in first or second place, they’ll take part in the Andalucían Clubs Championships.

Christian Galiana and Daniel Arriaza are in charge of training and directing the young players. Galiana talks about the regional tournament: “At Club level, this is the most important competition. We’re very eager to compete and perform well. We work hard to achieve good results, not forgetting our most important goal, the development of the players”.

The title is exciting, but the coach adds: “What really excites us is belonging to the Club, regardless of the tournament or rival”.
